Mortimer Taube

Mortimer Taube in 1953 introduced the concept of Uniterm indexing, a post-coordinae indexing system. He was important to the Library Science field because he invented Coordinate Indexing, which uses “Uniterms” in the context of cataloging. Uniterm indexing system is a post coordinate indexing system based on term entry principle.
